Carol Gilson has over 25 years of human resource and leadership experience. Carol has a strong orientation toward innovative planning and development to advance the business goals of an organization. Throughout her career, Carol has added significant value to companies by identifying, implementing and managing best practices across the HR and client service disciplines. While serving in executive positions within both the public and private sectors, Carol has developed and implemented training programs for frontline employees to executives, helped companies manage change curves, confronted workplace diversity, right-sized staffing plans and designed and implemented compensation and benefits plans. Carol also has experience within the legal sector where she served as HR administrator for a 220+ firm and provided HR consulting to many of the firm´s clients.
Carol has a master´s degree in management and administration (MMA), is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), and is a licensed adjunct faculty member at St. Paul College, Concordia University and Bethel University. Carol serves on several colleges´ business advisory boards, professional associations and is a career advisor for graduate students. This published and award winning professional speaker, frequently presents at HR and health care conferences and Employer Education Services at the Carlson School of Management.
Carol and her husband, Dennis, live in Roseville, Minnesota. They have two adult children and three grandchildren.
