Rolf is the owner of Training Design Associates LLC. He has been a consultant to industrial and academic organizations in the area of organization and instructional design for more than 20 years. Rolf has worked with a variety of organizations ranging from schools and colleges to utility companies. Rolf has worked with companies including 3M, Great Clips, Goodrich and CenterPoint Energy.

Rolf´s strength is his ability to analyze an organization´s needs and to design leadership, management, and skills-based training programs that move an organization forward. He develops competency-based skills training through a wide range of media and methods, and he documents best practices within an organization.

In addition to being an adjunct member of EMPO´s staff, Rolf is currently school board chair for Independent School District 624, White Bear Lake; vice-chair for Intermediate District 916, White Bear Lake; he is the director of the Minnesota School Boards Association; and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of St. Thomas School of Education.
