Scott has over 25 years of business and human resource experience. As a college student, Scott worked in retail, and after graduating he remained in the industry as a manager. In his managerial role, Scott was given progressively more human resource responsibility. When Scott decided to move out of the retail industry, he realized that HR had been the most rewarding part of his job, and consequently he made a goal to obtain a position with HR becoming his primary focus beyond the retail industry. Prior to joining EMPO in September 2005, Scott was the HR Manager for a transportation firm.

Scott received his Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification in January 2006 and remains current. He currently serves as EMPO´s Director of HR Services with a personal emphasis in legal compliance to include employee relations, initial employment (I-9), contracts, and audits. He is a frequent speaker at EMPO´s seminars and for other local organizations. Scott provides excellent technical guidance, support, and services to our clients and our HR team on a daily basis.
