The task force, led by Dean Kimberly Lawless, is focusing on strategies to enhance recruitment efforts. They are also exploring ways to make graduate programs more affordable and accessible.

"We are committed to addressing these challenges head-on and ensuring the long-term viability of our graduate programs," Dean Lawless stated. "We are actively seeking input from faculty, students, and alumni to develop effective solutions."

Proposed Solutions

Preliminary proposals include increasing financial aid opportunities, developing more flexible program formats (online and hybrid), and strengthening partnerships with local school districts. The goal is to offer more practical experiences.

The task force is also examining the curriculum to ensure it aligns with current market demands and prepares graduates for emerging roles in the education sector. A focus is also put on promoting the value of advanced degrees in a competitive job market.

The college plans to launch a new marketing campaign to highlight the strengths of its graduate programs. They hope to attract a wider pool of qualified applicants from across the nation and internationally.
