All Of The Underworld Movies In Order

Alright, buckle up, buttercups! We're diving headfirst into the ridiculously awesome world of Underworld. Think vampires versus werewolves, but with way more leather and slow-motion acrobatics. It's a wild ride!
The Underworld Saga: A Blood-Soaked Timeline
We're going to break down all the movies in order, so you can impress your friends with your newfound knowledge of immortal beings battling it out in dimly lit European cities. Trust me, it's a party trick they won't forget... probably.
1. Underworld (2003): The One That Started It All
This is where it all began, people! We meet Selene, played by the queen of gothic cool, Kate Beckinsale. She's a "Death Dealer," a vampire whose job is to hunt down those pesky Lycans (werewolves). It’s like being a pest control officer, but with fangs and a serious fashion sense.
Selene uncovers a conspiracy, falls for a human named Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman), who is the key to everything, and kicks a whole lot of werewolf butt. Classic love story, right?
2. Underworld: Evolution (2006): Things Get Complicated
Selene and Michael are on the run, trying to unravel the mysteries of their respective lineages. Turns out, the vampire and werewolf elders have a *very* messy family history. Think of it as a really, really bad Thanksgiving dinner that lasts for centuries.
Ancient evils are awakened, epic battles ensue, and Selene discovers she's even more important than she thought. Spoiler alert: It has something to do with her blood. As always!
3. Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009): Back to the Beginning
This is a prequel, taking us way back to the origins of the vampire-werewolf feud. We see Lucian, the original Lycan, leading a rebellion against the vampire overlords. Basically, it's a historical drama, if history involved fangs, claws, and an unhealthy amount of brooding.
It's a good backstory, though! You get to see how the hatred began, and why everyone is so darn angry all the time.
4. Underworld: Awakening (2012): Selene's Back (and Awake!)
Selene wakes up after being cryogenically frozen for twelve years. Turns out, humans have discovered the existence of vampires and werewolves and are trying to wipe them out. Not cool, humans, not cool.
She also discovers she has a daughter, Eve, who's a hybrid with some seriously powerful abilities. It's like a superhero origin story, but with more blood. Think about it, it is like a vampire version of the X-Men.
5. Underworld: Blood Wars (2016): The Final Showdown? (Maybe Not)
Everyone wants Selene's blood, because apparently it's the key to… well, everything. Vampires and werewolves are at each other's throats, and Selene is caught in the middle. Again. Poor girl can’t catch a break!
There's a new Lycan leader, Marius, who's particularly nasty, and Selene has to team up with some unlikely allies to survive. It's the most action-packed one yet, but who knows if this is really the end of the story.
So There You Have It!
The entire Underworld movie saga, laid out for your viewing pleasure. Now you can binge-watch them all and decide which one is your favorite. Just remember to keep the lights low and maybe have a glass of (tomato) juice on hand. You know, for ambiance!
Enjoy the ride, and remember: always trust a vampire with a good leather jacket. They know what they're doing.
