All The Episodes Of Dragon Ball Super

Okay, let's talk Dragon Ball Super. All those episodes! Remember when we were hyped? Ah, simpler times. So. Many. Episodes.

The "Early Days" Saga (aka The Beerus Saga)

First up, we got Beerus, the God of Destruction. He's purple and picky. He wants a Super Saiyan God. I kinda get it. Regular Saiyans are so last season.

These episodes are...controversial. The animation? Yikes! It got better, promise! But those first few episodes? Ouch. Like, Krillin-taking-another-L ouch.

My Unpopular Opinion:

I actually kinda liked the early episodes. They were goofy! Remember the bingo tournament? Pure gold. Sue me!

The Resurrection 'F' Saga

Then Frieza came back! Again! Seriously, can this guy stay dead? Apparently not. He learned gold paint is terrifying.

This saga felt rushed. Golden Frieza was strong, sure. But it felt like a retread of Namek. Plus, Whis's rewind power? Talk about a cheat code.

Unpopular Opinion Time:

Golden Frieza's design was kinda cool. Don't @ me. The gold just...shined!

The Universe 6 Saga

Okay, now we're getting somewhere! Tournament time! Champa, Beerus's chubby twin, shows up. They're like grumpy, food-obsessed toddlers.

We meet Hit! He's all stoic and time-skippy. Goku's fighting got more strategic here. Also, Vegeta got robbed…again. Poor guy!

My Take:

Hit's Time-Skip is one of the coolest powers in Dragon Ball. Change my mind. Also, Cabba's a cutie!

The Goku Black Saga

This saga was dark! Like, end-of-the-world dark. Goku Black was terrifying. He had Goku's face, but evil! Brrr.

Zamasu's plan was…ambitious. Godly immortality? Check. Saiyan body? Check. Zero mortals? Big check. Messed up, dude.

My Unpopular Thought:

I low-key rooted for Zamasu's twisted logic. Not really, but he was interesting! Villain goals, I guess?

The Universe Survival Saga

The Tournament of Power! So many universes! So many fighters! So many exploding power levels! My brain almost exploded, too.

This was pure Dragon Ball spectacle. Transformations galore! New techniques! The power of friendship! And Jiren…that guy was a brick wall.

Goku achieving Ultra Instinct was epic. Finally! Something new! Plus, the team-up with Frieza against Jiren? Chef's kiss.

My Weird Opinion:

I wish they'd explored the other universes more! Imagine all the weird and wonderful fighters we missed! Universe 2's magical girls were hilarious.

The Broly Movie (Technically Not Episodes But Still...)

Okay, it's a movie, but it's canon now! Broly is back! And he's…actually sympathetic? No more mindless rage monster. Kinda sad, actually.

The animation was gorgeous! The fight scenes? Insane! The retconning of Broly's backstory? Eh, I'll allow it.

My Hot Take:

This movie redeemed Broly! He's not just a screaming muscle-head anymore! He's a screaming, misunderstood muscle-head!

So, that's Dragon Ball Super in a nutshell. A bumpy ride, for sure. But hey, at least we got new transformations and ridiculous power levels. What more could a Saiyan fan ask for?
