Animes Coming Out In October 2024

October! The month of spooky season and pumpkin spice everything. But more importantly? It's anime season! Let's peek at what's dropping this year.
Anime on the Horizon: October 2024
So, I've been doing my anime homework, okay? Digging through the trailers, reading the synopses... It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.
The Sequels We're (Probably) Hyped For
Sequels are like comfort food, right? We know what we're getting. Hopefully, better versions of it. Fingers crossed!
Maybe Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters (Part 4... maybe?) *finally* wraps up. I mean, come on, Eren! Make up your mind already! (Unpopular opinion: I secretly loved the ending. Don't @ me).
And is Spy x Family Season 3 a sure thing? Please, Anya needs more peanuts and world-saving shenanigans. Plus, Loid and Yor's "marriage" is hilarious.
New Kids on the Block: Original Series to Watch
Okay, sequels are great. But sometimes you need something completely fresh. Something that hasn't been milked dry like a sad, forgotten dairy cow.
There's always buzz about that one mystery anime, the one nobody's quite sure about. The one with the weird character designs and the overly dramatic trailer. I'm looking at you, untitled mecha project. I have a feeling that something like Project Chronos might just surprise us.
Don't forget the inevitable isekai! This time a dentist gets reincarnated into a fantasy world with sentient teeth. (I'm kidding! ...Mostly.) Seriously though, even I'm starting to find it a little bit boring.
Adaptations: From Manga to Masterpiece?
Adaptations are always a gamble. Will they capture the magic of the original? Or will they butcher it beyond recognition? Let's hope for the former.
There's this one manga, Starfall Symphony, that's supposed to be getting an anime. It's about a group of musicians who can control the weather with their instruments. Seems promising!
Another adaptation could be Crimson Requiem, a dark fantasy with vampires and angst. Prepare for dramatic posing and internal monologues. I will not be held responsible for the number of times I roll my eyes.
My Hot Take: The Most Underrated Anime of October 2024
Here's my controversial pick: Space Janitors: The Anime. Yeah, I know, it sounds ridiculous. But hear me out!
It's about the unsung heroes who clean up after epic space battles. Think cosmic dust bunnies and alien goo. It could be surprisingly hilarious and heartwarming. Plus, I'm betting the soundtrack will be killer. (Fight me in the comments.)
I have a feeling this will be a hidden gem, something completely different. Something that will make you laugh, cry, and maybe even appreciate the people who clean up our messes.
So, that's my (slightly biased) rundown of the October 2024 anime season. What are *you* looking forward to? Let me know in the comments!
