Ark Survival Evolved How To Tame A T Rex

So, you want a T-Rex in Ark: Survival Evolved? You're not alone! Everyone does, eventually. They're the ultimate power flex, the king (or queen) of the dino pile, and let's be honest, ridiculously cool.
First thing's first: prepping. Imagine inviting a really, REALLY picky guest for dinner. Except this guest can crush your house. You’ll need a strong pen, like stone or metal. Wood is just a snack for a T-Rex.
The bigger, the better! Think less "cozy cottage" and more "dino-sized fortress." Make sure there’s a way for you to escape, but not your soon to be dino-friend. A ramp up the side and over the wall is perfect.
Finding Your Rexy
Next, you need to find your prehistoric pal. T-Rexes aren't exactly shy, but they aren't always in convenient locations either. They tend to hang out in the tougher zones. Bring backup, both human and dino!
Spotting one is easy; they’re, well, HUGE. Think “Jurassic Park” but less running-for-your-life (hopefully). Unless, of course, your plan goes sideways. Then, yeah, run.
The Napping Game
Now for the tricky part: putting your T-Rex to sleep. This isn't a lullaby situation. You'll need tranquilizer darts or arrows. Lots of them.
Aim for the head! Okay, not really, aim for the body! The head shot does less torpor so takes longer. Each hit increases its torpor, which is like a dino sleepiness meter.
Keep shooting until it starts snoring. Watch its torpor level carefully. If it drops to zero, congratulations, you’ve just made a very angry, very awake T-Rex even angrier.
The Snack Bar Is Open
Once your T-Rex is catching some Z's, it's feeding time! Raw meat is its favorite. Prime meat is even better, if you’re feeling fancy. Who doesn’t love a good steak?
Just stuff the food into its inventory. Keep an eye on its torpor level during the taming process. Narcotics or Narcoberries are your best friend here. Force-feed them to keep it asleep.
Taming is a waiting game. Go get some coffee, watch a movie, practice your T-Rex riding poses. Just don’t wander too far!
Welcome to the Family!
Congratulations! You now have a T-Rex. Give it a cool name, like "Rexy" or "Tiny." Now you can ride it around the island.
You and your new dino buddy can explore the island together. Show it off to your friends, and generally rule the Ark.
Just remember, owning a T-Rex comes with responsibility. They eat a lot. They need attention. And they might accidentally step on your thatch hut. But hey, who needs a thatch hut when you have a T-Rex?
Becoming a T-Rex owner in Ark is a rite of passage. It's challenging, ridiculous, and ultimately, incredibly rewarding. So go out there, find your Rexy, and start your adventure!
