Attack Of The Titan Season 3

Okay, let's talk Attack on Titan. Specifically, Season 3. Prepare yourselves. I have some thoughts. And they might be...controversial.
Season 3: The Basement and Beyond
Remember all that screaming and Titan-slaying from Seasons 1 and 2? Good times! But then Season 3 rolls around. Suddenly, it's all politics and Erwin Smith's eyebrows.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a good conspiracy. I love unraveling mysteries. But sometimes, I just wanted to see more giant naked people getting punched!
The Political Intrigue: Snoozefest or Masterpiece?
Let's be honest, the whole royal government arc was...dense. All those meetings. So much scheming. My brain felt like it was doing mental gymnastics.
I know, I know, it's important for the plot. It builds the world. But did we *really* need that much political maneuvering? I started to miss the simple days of running from Titans.
And then there's Kenny Ackerman. What a character! Ruthless, deadly, and oddly charming. He was a highlight, even if he was a bad guy.
The *Real* Unpopular Opinion: Is it overrated?
Okay, deep breath. Here it comes: Season 3, while good, might be a little overrated. There, I said it!
Everyone raves about the basement reveal. But honestly, the journey there felt a tad long. I was expecting, I don't know, more?
Plus, the whole 'heroic sacrifice' trope felt a little heavy-handed. I love a good tearjerker, but sometimes it felt like they were trying too hard to tug at my heartstrings.
The Serum Bowl: A Divisive Decision
Then there was the serum decision. Levi choosing Armin over Erwin. Talk about a controversial choice!
Twitter exploded. Friendships were tested. Family members stopped speaking. All over a fictional syringe. Amazing!
While I understand the reasoning behind choosing Armin, a part of me will always wonder what Erwin could have accomplished. He was a strategic genius! But hey, what's done is done.
Still Worth Watching? Absolutely!
Despite my gripes, Season 3 is still Attack on Titan. And that means it's still pretty darn good.
The animation is stunning. The music is epic. And the story, even with its slow patches, is captivating.
So, should you watch Season 3? Of course! Just maybe... temper your expectations a little. And prepare for a lot of political jargon.
"It's not about whether it's easy or hard. It's about whether you should do it or not." - Levi Ackerman (Probably talking about watching Season 3)
Maybe my unpopular opinion is actually a popular one? Who knows! But hey, at least we can all agree that Attack on Titan is worth talking about, even when it makes our brains hurt a little.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch the Levi vs. Kenny fight scene. Pure, unadulterated awesomeness. No politics required.
