Now for something completely different, we have The Frost King. He's basically the opposite of the Nomad. Instead of barbecue, he's rocking the ice sculpture look.

Think Elsa, but if Elsa was a grumpy bandit with a serious ice magic addiction and a bad attitude. Expect a flurry of ice attacks and be sure to bring some fire to melt that frosty disposition.

Fighting him is like trying to have a snowball fight in the middle of summer. Except, you know, if the snowballs were actually shards of ice that could freeze you solid. Fun times!

Minion Mayhem: The Freaks of Frostburn

Don't forget about all the delightful little freaks running around in between these boss battles! We're talking about burning psychos, marauders, and all sorts of other charming individuals eager to share their personal space with your bullets.

They are a great test for your builds. If you can take down those crazy pyros and icy fiends you will for sure reach the end!

These guys add some spice to the trip, and they also bring in the XP. Who doesn't love a good excuse to unload a clip into a rabid, flaming bandit?

Frostburn Canyon is a great place to score some elemental-resistant gear. You will want to be prepared.

Seriously, you’ll need all the help you can get if you want to survive the heat (and the cold) and emerge victorious. Look for items that boast those fire and ice resistances.

Think of it as buying a good winter coat before hitting the slopes, or fire-resistant clothing before becoming a dragon tamer. Except, in this case, you’re taming psycho bandits with flamethrowers. Close enough, right?

Tips and Tricks for Taming the Flames (and Ice!)

Don't be afraid to experiment with different weapons and strategies. What works against a fire-spewing bandit might not work against an ice-slinging shaman.

Use the environment to your advantage. Those conveniently placed barrels of water? Perfect for dousing burning enemies! And those icy patches? Great for sliding to safety or setting up a killer slide-and-shoot maneuver!
