Breath Of The Wild The Two Rings

Okay, hear me out, Zelda fans. We all love Breath of the Wild, right? Big world, cool swords, delicious apples...

But I have a confession. A gaming sin, perhaps. I think the two rings in Breath of the Wild – the ones you find with Kilton – are kind of… underwhelming.

The Royal Guard Set: So Shiny, So Useless?

Let's talk about the Royal Guard Set first. It looks awesome. Seriously, Link looks like he's ready to attend the Hyrulean Met Gala.

But the durability? It’s worse than my phone battery on a road trip. One good fight and it’s practically dust.

I get that it's supposed to be powerful. But what's the point of power if it shatters after, like, five hits? I spend more time fixing it than using it!

Sneaking Around? Not Really.

Then there’s the Stealth Set. Okay, sneaking around Hyrule sounds cool. Imagine silently snatching apples from Bokoblin camps!

Except… it doesn’t actually work that well. At least, not for me. Maybe I'm just bad at stealth, or maybe the Bokoblins have super-sensitive hearing.

Either way, I always end up getting spotted. So much for being a ninja.

Kilton: Love the Guy, Hate the Rings

Don't get me wrong, I love Kilton. The guy's a weirdo, but he's *our* weirdo. And his monster parts shop is pretty sweet.

But his rings? The Royal Guard Set and the Stealth Set just feel like a letdown. Especially considering how much Mon (Kilton's currency) you have to grind for them.

I can spend that Mon in much better things, trust me!

Is It Just Me?

Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm missing some secret strategy for maximizing the usefulness of these sets. Maybe I should git gud, as the kids say.

But honestly, I'd rather just rock the Hylian Hood and some random armor. At least that stuff lasts longer than a sneeze in a sandstorm.

I feel like I should be happy to own these, but I am more happy for something that is more worth the grind.

Unpopular Opinion Incoming!

So here it is, my potentially controversial opinion. I think the Royal Guard Set and the Stealth Set are overrated. There, I said it!

They look cool, sure. But their practical value is questionable, in my humble opinion.

Give me a sturdy shield and a reliable sword any day. And maybe a lifetime supply of those delicious Hyrule apples.

Otherwise, I'll stick to my trusty Hylian set and continue my quest to defeat Ganon (eventually… I'm easily distracted by Korok seeds).

It is true that the armor sets looks cool, but in reality they are more of a trouble than a help.
