Breath Of The Wild Zora Side Quests

Okay, let’s be honest. We all love Breath of the Wild. But some parts? Well, let's just say some parts are more "ugh" than "yay." Especially when it involves fish people.

Zora's Domain: Beautiful, But...

Zora's Domain is gorgeous. Seriously, the waterfalls and the architecture? Stunning! But then you remember all those side quests.

The Sidon Situation

First, there’s Sidon. Super charming, sparkly teeth, encouraging words. But does anyone else find him a *little* too enthusiastic? Like, dial it back a notch, buddy. We get it, you need help.

And don't even get me started on his constant cheering during the Vah Ruta fight. I swear he almost gave me a heart attack with all the yelling.

Side Quest Shenanigans

Then we have the side quests. Oh, the side quests. Fetch quests galore! Can we just agree that fetching things is rarely fun?

I mean, "go get me ten luminous stones" isn't exactly thrilling gameplay. It's more like a chore your mom gives you on a Saturday morning.

The Zora Armor: Worth the Trouble?

Okay, okay, the Zora Armor is cool. Being able to swim up waterfalls? Awesome. But was it worth all the hunt for lizalfos tails? I'm not so sure.

Those lizalfos are sneaky! And those tails? So annoying to collect! Honestly, sometimes I'd rather just take the long way around.

Finding Love... Or Something Like It

Let's not forget the quest where you help a Zora find love. It starts off cute, but then you realize you're basically playing Zora Cupid. Delivering love letters. Seriously?

And what if you mess up? Is some Zora going to be heartbroken because of *you*? The pressure!

Unpopular Opinion Time

Here's my unpopular opinion: the Zora side quests are… kinda boring. There, I said it! They're not *bad*, but compared to the other amazing things Breath of the Wild has to offer, they fall a little flat.

Maybe it's the fetch quests. Maybe it's the slightly repetitive dialogue. Maybe it's just me being a grumpy Hylian. But after a while, I start wishing I was back fighting bokoblins.

Give me a Hinox to battle over another luminous stone quest any day of the week. At least then I'm getting a workout for my weapons!

Don't Get Me Wrong...

Look, I still appreciate Zora's Domain and its inhabitants. The story is interesting, and the characters are well-developed. But maybe next time, less fetching, more fighting, okay, Nintendo?
