Cast Of Little Giants Then And Now

Remember the Little Giants? That ragtag team of misfits who proved that heart triumphs over… well, a team stacked with ringers? It's been almost 30 years since they stormed onto our screens, so let's see what happened to those football heroes!
Where Are They Now? O'Neill, Vranian, and the Crew
Let’s kick things off with Rick Moranis, Coach Danny O'Shea! While he sadly stepped back from acting to focus on raising his children after his wife’s passing, he’s made a glorious comeback recently. You might have even heard him in the latest Honey, I Shrunk the Kids sequel.
Ed O'Neill, as Coach Kevin O'Shea, was already a familiar face. He continued his sitcom dominance, starring as Al Bundy in Married... with Children and then as Jay Pritchett in Modern Family. Safe to say, he's still making us laugh!
The Little Giants on the Field and Off
Devon Sawa, aka Junior Floyd, became a teen heartthrob. He starred in Casper and Final Destination. He's still acting, appearing in shows like Nikita and the Chucky television series.
Icebox, played by Shawna Waldron, ditched football for a career behind the camera. She's worked in production and has also appeared in smaller roles. What a kick in the butt!
Todd Bosley, the lovable but… vertically challenged Jake Berman, continued acting. He’s appeared in various TV shows and movies, often playing characters that play on his height. He took a small stature and made it larger than life.
Don't forget Spike, played by Patrick Renna! Renna has worked steadily in television and film. He often interacts with fans on social media and attends fan conventions, embracing his Little Giants legacy. He's still a fan favorite!
And then there's Joey Vranian, the legendary Mike Hammersmith! Vranian left acting not long after the movie. He went on to become a success, but away from the camera lights.
More Misfits That Made It
Webster, played by Matthew McCurley, took a different route altogether. He seems to have stepped out of the spotlight, living a more private life.
Sam Horowitz, who played the unforgettable Jewish Hammer, continued to act for a few years. Nowadays he lives a private life.
Don't forget about Rudy, played by Jonathan Palmer! Palmer left acting a while ago and pursued a career outside of the entertainment industry. It's always interesting to see where people land after the spotlight fades!
From Pee-Wee to Pros?
While not everyone from the Little Giants cast became a household name, they each played a vital role in making the movie a classic. They showed us that with teamwork, determination, and a whole lot of heart, anything is possible. Even beating the Cowboys!
So, the next time you’re feeling down, remember the Little Giants. Remember the quote:
"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog."Pretty cool, right? They’re a reminder that underdogs can triumph, and sometimes, the real victory is just playing the game.
