First, let's talk about making your base as annoying as humanly possible. Think of it like strategically placing LEGO bricks all over the floor – only, instead of tiny plastic bricks, it's strategically placed buildings!

The Core: Where the Magic Happens

Let's get that Town Hall smack-dab in the center. We're basically building a fortress around it. Think of it as protecting the last slice of pizza at a party - serious business!

Surrounding the Town Hall, we want our most important defenses. I'm talking about your Air Defense and Wizard Towers. These are your heavy hitters, the ones that can really ruin an attacker's day.

Also, throw in those Clan Castle troops! We want them jumping out like surprise birthday party guests to give the attackers an unpleasant surprise.

Layering Up: The Great Wall (Sort Of)

Now, we need walls! Lots and lots of walls. Imagine you're building a really, really complicated maze… but instead of a Minotaur, there are angry giants.

Think compartments! Break up your base into little sections with walls. This forces troops to waste time and get hammered by your defenses.

Don't put all your walls in one big square. The more layers the better!

Funneling: Guiding the Sheep (or Giants)

This is where the real strategy comes in. We want to "funnel" the attackers. Basically, trick them into going where we *want* them to go.

Leave small gaps in your outer walls. Giants are like, "Ooh, a gap! Let's go that way!" And BAM! They're walking right into your trap.

Strategically placed buildings outside your walls can also act as bait. Think of them as shiny objects distracting a toddler – very effective!

Traps: Springing Surprises

Ah, traps! The mischievous little helpers. These are crucial to stopping enemy attacks.

Spring Traps near those funnels we created are perfect for tossing Giants into the air like they're on a trampoline.

Bombs and Giant Bombs placed strategically within your base can wipe out groups of weaker troops. Place them where you expect troops to bunch up!

The Extras: Fine-Tuning the Fortress

Now, for the miscellaneous buildings – your gold mines, elixir collectors, barracks, etc. Don’t just throw these around.
