Ending Scene Of Fast And Furious 7

Okay, let’s talk about something maybe a bit controversial. Something that might make some of you furious. It's about a car movie.
The *Fast & Furious 7* Ending: A Little...Overrated?
Specifically, the ending of Fast & Furious 7. I know, I know. Get the pitchforks ready! But hear me out.
A Beautiful Tribute, No Doubt
First, let's acknowledge the obvious. The ending was incredibly touching. It was a beautiful send-off to Paul Walker.
The song "See You Again" was perfectly chosen. It made everyone shed a tear, or three. Even the toughest guys I know were misty-eyed!
But Did It *Really* Fit?
Here's where my unpopular opinion comes in. Did the ultra-sentimental ending really mesh with the rest of the movie? I'm not so sure.
Fast & Furious movies are known for their over-the-top action. Crazy stunts and gravity-defying car chases! Not usually quiet reflection.
They're about family, sure. But it's usually family barbecues after blowing up a tank.
Remember the Rest of the Movie?
Let's rewind a bit. We had cars parachuting out of planes. Jason Statham as a supervillain was intense. Buildings getting smashed.
Dom was doing Dom things. Mia was worried and Brian doing amazing car stunts. All very Fast & Furious.
Then, suddenly, we shift gears. Dramatic music swells and everything is... sad. A very emotional farewell.
A Disconnect, Perhaps?
It felt like two separate movies smushed together. Action-packed blockbuster meets tear-jerking memorial. It felt slightly disconnected.
I understand *why* they did it that way, obviously. Respect and love for Paul Walker and his contribution to the series. No one can deny that.
But creatively, I think it was a bit jarring. A hard turn after all the explosions.
Could They Have Done It Differently?
Maybe a slightly less intense, less drawn-out farewell would've worked better? Subtlety isn't exactly the Fast & Furious brand. But in this case, a little subtlety might have gone a long way.
Imagine a shorter montage. Perhaps a quiet scene with Dom looking at a picture. Something that acknowledged the loss without completely changing the film's DNA.
That's just my thought though.
Ultimately, It Worked (Sort Of)
Look, I'm not saying it was a bad ending. It was undeniably effective. It touched millions of people.
And it made a ton of money! The movie become a global phenomenon. Which makes me feel a bit guilty even questioning it.
But as a piece of filmmaking? I think it was a little forced. A bit too sentimental for its own good.
So, What Do You Think?
I'm ready for the backlash. Tell me I'm wrong! Tell me I have no soul! I'm prepared.
But I stand by my (probably unpopular) opinion. The Fast & Furious 7 ending, while moving, was a bit of a creative misstep.
Feel free to disagree, but let’s keep it civil! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch Fast Five. Because that movie is perfect. Now let's all agree on that!
