Fly Me To The Moon Manga Characters

Okay, let's talk about Fly Me to the Moon! Or, as some call it, Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You. It's cute, right? A love story for the ages, or at least, for those who enjoy a *very* slow burn.
Nasa Yuzaki: Is He Too Perfect?
First, there's Nasa. Our protagonist. He's smart, kind, and devoted. Almost...too devoted? Like, dude, can you have *any* flaws?
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion. But his eagerness can be a *little* much sometimes. It's like he's trying too hard to be the perfect husband.
He’s got the name of NASA! But is his personality orbiting around "perfect" a bit too closely? I'm just saying, a little spice would be nice! Give me *some* imperfection!
Tsukasa Yuzaki: The Mysterious Moon Princess
Then we have Tsukasa. She's beautiful, mysterious, and seemingly immortal. Okay, that's a lot to unpack. I like a good mystery, but sometimes it feels like she's *too* mysterious.
She deflects questions like a pro ninja! We’re several volumes in. And I'm still not entirely sure what her deal is. Is she a goddess? An alien? A really, really old lady?
I want answers! Is that too much to ask? Or is the slow reveal part of the charm? I'm on the fence, honestly.
The Side Characters: Hit or Miss?
Kaname Arisugawa: The Helpful Friend
Kaname is Nasa's friend and confidante. She offers advice (sometimes unwanted) and a dose of reality. She's a solid character.
She's the voice of reason amidst all the otherworldly happenings. Gotta love her for that. Plus, she ships Nasa and Tsukasa harder than anyone!
Aya Arisugawa: The Aspiring Mangaka
Aya, Kaname's younger sister, dreams of becoming a manga artist. She adds a touch of youthful energy to the cast.
She's quirky and dedicated. And her struggles with her art are very relatable. We've all been there, right? Staring at a blank page, wondering where to start.
Chitose Kaginoji: The Overprotective Relative
And then there's Chitose. Tsukasa's relative. She's... intense. Her overprotectiveness borders on obsessive. She's definitely an interesting character.
She clearly cares about Tsukasa. But her methods are a little extreme. Can someone say "helicopter relative"?
Is her constant interference funny or annoying? I find myself switching between the two. Her antics add a certain comedic flair. But I do wish she would back off a bit!
Final Thoughts (Maybe Unpopular)
Fly Me to the Moon is undeniably sweet. It's like a fluffy cloud of romance. But sometimes, I crave a bit more substance.
More character development! More plot twists! Less perfectly-behaved protagonists! Is that too much to ask from my manga?
Don't get me wrong. I enjoy the series. It's just that sometimes, I wish it would take a few more risks. But hey, maybe that's just me!
