Okay, let's talk Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunts. Specifically, the “Fine Tuned” one. You know, the one where everyone pretends it's not ridiculously easy?

The "Challenge"

Seriously, I think my grandma could figure it out. And she still uses a flip phone. Maybe I'm missing something?

The riddle drops. "Fine Tuned skill leads to a fast set of gears. Near the home of the giants, go and conquer your fears." Right, like that's some Da Vinci Code level stuff.

Unlocking the Secret (Not Really)

So, you need a "Fine Tuned" skill, got it. A Nissan Fairlady Z 432R does the trick. Now, about those "giants"...

Everyone and their dog knows it's those giant statues. You drift near them. Bam! Skill achieved! It's like giving candy to a baby. A baby driving a ridiculously fast car.

Then the red zone pops up on the map. Like a beacon screaming, "TREASURE HERE!" Stealth? Nope. Subtlety? Gone.

My Unpopular Opinion

Here's where I might lose some of you. I think the "Fine Tuned" Treasure Hunt is... TOO easy. Controversial, I know.

It's practically handing you free credits and a cool car. Where's the brain-tickling puzzle? Where's the satisfaction of a hard-earned win?

I mean, remember the treasure hunts from Forza Horizon 4? Now THOSE were puzzles. You felt like a digital Indiana Jones. This? This is more like Dora the Explorer. And no offense to Dora.

Don't get me wrong, I love free stuff. But a little challenge keeps things interesting. Maybe I just enjoy the struggle? Am I a masochist gamer?

Some people probably enjoy the quick win. It's a dopamine hit, I get it. A little boost in your virtual bank account. Good for you!

The Reward: Is It Worth It?

The reward car itself is pretty sweet. A modified beast ready to tear up the Mexican landscape. No complaints there.

And the credits? Always welcome. Who can say no to more cars and upgrades? Not me, that's for sure.

But still... I secretly yearn for a treasure hunt that actually makes me Google something. A hunt where I have to put in real effort. Is that too much to ask?

Maybe the Forza Horizon gods will hear my pleas. Maybe they'll throw us a curveball in the next update. A puzzle so cryptic, it'll break the internet. One can dream, right?

Until then, I'll keep "struggling" with these ridiculously easy treasure hunts. Sigh. It's a hard life being a gamer.
