Meredith's Back (Duh)

So, Meredith is back. Surprise! I mean, it's called Grey's Anatomy, not "Anatomy Where Meredith Only Appears in Flashbacks." Just saying.

But is she really *back* back? Like, staying put? Or is this another "special guest star" situation? My anxiety can't handle another departure.

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but sometimes I feel like Meredith gets *too* much screen time. Give the other docs some love, people! Like Bailey!

The Return of...Nick?

And who should pop up but Nick Marsh?! Mr. Transplant Surgeon Extraordinaire. Color me intrigued.

I'll be honest, I kind of forgot about him. It's not that I *dislike* him, but... is he really the best Meredith can do?

My Unpopular Opinion: Less Romance, More Medicine

Okay, here's my truly unpopular opinion: I wish Grey's Anatomy would focus a little less on the romance and a little more on the medicine.

I mean, remember those early seasons where they were actually teaching us stuff about obscure medical conditions? I miss that!

We get it, everyone's sleeping with everyone. Can we get back to some fascinating surgeries and medical mysteries? Please and thank you.
