How To Get Cursed Gear In Ghost Of Tsushima

Okay, you brave samurai wannabe! You want the cool, the edgy, the stuff that makes you go, "Ooooh, I shouldn't... but I WANT!" You want the Cursed Gear in Ghost of Tsushima. Let’s get you started!
Let the Hunt Begin!
First, you gotta get your adventure pants on and head to Iki Island. Think of it as a samurai vacation gone horribly, hilariously wrong. You'll need to either beat the main game first, or dive right in from the main menu.
Raiding the Past
The key to unlocking your edgy new threads lies in finding something called Saruiwa Overlook. It's like a scenic viewpoint... if scenic viewpoints involved perilous climbs and vengeful spirits.
Once you get there, prepare for a parkour adventure. Channel your inner mountain goat, and start climbing, jumping, and grappling your way upwards. Don’t worry about falling, Jin’s got those mystical samurai glue-feet!
Finding The Hidden Shrine
At the top of the mountain, be on the lookout for a hidden cave with a creepy alter. You’ll know it when you see it—trust me.
This is where the magic (or the misfortune, depending on how you look at it) happens. You will find a strange mask there, that will let you unlock the cursed gear.
Unlocking Your Inner Demon (Gear)
Right, here’s where things get interesting. Now that you have the mask, you need to find three different statues to unlock the cursed gear.
Here's a pro-tip: explore Iki Island thoroughly. The statues are hidden in specific locations, and you’ll need to solve minor puzzles to get to them. Think of it as a samurai scavenger hunt. Fun, right?
Location, Location, Location
The first statue can be found near Saruiwa itself, after a simple climbing challenge. The second one is hidden within the Shipwreck Cove, you need to blow some explosive barrels to expose the statue.
The third, and last statue, rests atop the Raider Memorial in the north of Iki Island. Be careful, because you will need to solve an environment puzzle to get it.
Prayers and Promises (No Actual Prayers Required)
Now that you have found all the statues, it’s time to visit the altar in the cave on top of Saruiwa Overlook. Now you can give the statues as tribute, and unlock your new cursed gear.
You’ll present your offerings at the altar. It is a bit like ordering a pizza, but instead of pepperoni, you're offering ancient relics. Prepare for a short and spooky cutscene.
Behold! (And Maybe Regret?)
Congratulations, you've done it! You've unlocked the armor. It comes with some truly wild buffs and debuffs. We’re talking increased damage, but maybe you take more damage too. It’s a trade-off!
Use Your New Gear Responsibly (Or Don't)
Now that you're rocking cursed gear, go forth and wreak havoc! Just remember, with great power comes great… uh… slightly increased chance of getting your butt kicked.
Experiment with different builds, and find the cursed gear that suits your play style. Become the samurai of your darkest (and coolest) dreams.
So, are you ready to embrace the curse? Go out there and claim your prize. Iki Island awaits, samurai!
