How To Get Ice Arrows In Ocarina Of Time

Okay, so you want some Ice Arrows in Ocarina of Time, huh? Awesome choice! They're not just for show; they can freeze baddies solid and make platforms out of water. But getting them? It's a bit of a… journey. Get ready for a little bit of sneaking, a little bit of shooting, and a whole lot of waiting.
First, make sure you're adult Link. Little Link's got his own charm, but he's not invited to this particular party. It's time for some grown-up adventuring. You need to have defeated the Gerudo Fortress.
Sneaking into the Gerudo Valley
Once you have saved all of the carpenters, you get a Gerudo Mask. It's not just a fashion statement, folks! It lets you wander around Gerudo Valley without getting pummeled by those tough Gerudo warriors. Think of it as a magical "Do Not Disturb" sign for angry sword-wielding women.
Make your way to the Gerudo Training Ground. This is where things get interesting. It's essentially a series of challenges that test your skills. You'll need your bow, hookshot, and a healthy dose of patience.
Navigating the Training Ground
Get ready for a maze! Seriously, it's a bit of a brain-teaser. You'll be climbing, shooting, and solving puzzles. The goal is to collect keys to open doors. It's like a digital escape room, only with more goblins.
Don't be afraid to experiment with your items! The Hookshot will be your best friend for reaching distant platforms. And those arrows? Well, they're not just for decoration. Aim carefully; you might need to shoot some targets to unlock pathways.
There are some enemies, Beamos and Lizalfos, but none of them are too difficult to deal with. If you are having trouble, there are several walkthroughs on the internet for reference!
The Final Reward
After opening all the locks, and going through all the rooms, you'll get to the end of the training ground. Guess what? No, not cake. You get to meet a friendly Gerudo who is impressed by your skills.
She'll give you the Gerudo Membership Card. This is your VIP pass to the archery range! It's time to put your bow skills to the test, and time to finally get those Ice Arrows.
Hitting the Bullseye
Head to the archery range. Talk to the Gerudo woman and pay 20 rupees. Now, here comes the challenge of shooting at all 10 targets! The time limit is 60 seconds, and that can be stressful. Missing the target can also get you a tongue lashing from the Gerudo running the range!
Aim carefully, and make sure to adjust for distance and wind. It might take a few tries, but don't give up! You can redo this challenge as many times as you want!
Here is the kicker: The prize for getting a perfect score is the Quiver upgrade. NOT the Ice Arrows. The Ice Arrows are located in the Great Fairy Fountain by Zora's Domain. So don't get mad that you didn't get Ice Arrows, because you are not quite done yet.
Visiting the Great Fairy
After you're all done with the archery range, head back to Zora's Domain, and head to Great Fairy Fountain in the back. Now for 500 rupees you get to be blessed with the power of Ice Arrows.
Congratulations! You've got your Ice Arrows. Now go freeze some enemies, make some ice platforms, and generally be a chilly hero.
