How To Get To The Glass Desert In Slime Rancher

Ready for an adventure that's hotter than a ginger tabby on a summer roof? Get ready because we're going to explore the shimmering, sizzling, spectacular Glass Desert in Slime Rancher!

First, you'll need to make sure you’re not fresh off the boat (or should I say, spaceship?). You need to wander around the Dry Reef, Indigo Quarry, and Moss Blanket.

Basically, you need to have gotten to know the lay of the land. You need to have poked around a bit, gotten slimed a few times, and probably learned that Rock Slimes and water don't mix!

Step 1: Become a Key Master (Kind Of!)

Alright, listen up! To get to the Glass Desert, you need the Ancient Water. It’s not like regular water. Ancient Water is like the limited-edition, extra-sparkly, vintage cola of the slime world!

Head on over to the Ancient Ruins. Think Indiana Jones, but with more bouncing slimes and fewer snakes (thank goodness!).

Once inside, you need to find the four Oasis gadgets. These Oasis gadgets are hidden around the Ancient Ruins.

You'll need to power them up with plorts from specific slimes. Each Oasis requires 5 of either: Boom Plorts, Crystal Plorts, Honey Plorts, or Quantum Plorts.

Feeding them plorts is like giving them a delicious, slime-flavored energy drink. After all four Oasis' are activated, the big door will open!

Step 2: Find the teleporter

Now, once the big door opens, walk inside. It's like walking into the backstage area of a rock concert, all mysterious and important-looking!

Keep going through the ruins. The path can be a bit tricky, but don't worry, you'll get there!

Eventually, you'll find the Teleporter. It's sitting there like a shiny new sports car waiting for you to take it for a spin!

Step 3: Activate and Jump In!

You're not quite there yet, this Teleporter needs a little *kickstart*!

To get the teleporter going, you have to deposit some Ancient Water into it. It is located near the teleporter.

With the water added, the Teleporter will hum to life. Imagine it's like your car finally starting on a freezing morning!

Now, brace yourself, take a deep breath, and jump into that swirling vortex. You're about to enter the scorching heart of the Glass Desert!

Step 4: Survive the Heat (and the Tarr!)

Congratulations! You’ve made it! The Glass Desert is a unique biome with all sorts of treasures.

The Glass Desert is like a super-challenging obstacle course. It requires you to be strategic about water, and use new mechanics to change the environment.

Be aware that the Glass Desert is HOT! You can replenish the dried out Oasis’s with water! Use the Echo Net to discover the Echoes of the past.

Also, be careful of the Tarr Slimes. They’re bad news bears and can easily ruin your day.
