How To Summon Martian Invasion In Terraria

Greetings, Terrarians! Fancy a visit from some green-skinned pals?
So, you're itching for a little interplanetary excitement, eh? You want to see some Martians, those quirky little green guys with their flying saucers, come visit your humble Terrarian abode? Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into the somewhat haphazard, surprisingly endearing, and occasionally explosive world of Martian visitation rights.
Step 1: Head Skyward
First things first, ditch the underground caves for a bit. You need to be out and about in the open sky, up where the air is thin, and the UFOs like to hang out. Think open plains, deserts, even a snowscape – anywhere that gives you a clear view of the heavens above is ideal.
Make sure you're up above ground, preferably above those pesky trees. They might block the view of what we're looking for.
Step 2: Patiently Await the Probe
Now comes the waiting game. And honestly, this is the part where you might want to grab a snack, maybe put on some background music. Because what we're waiting for is a Martian Probe, that annoying little flying eyeball that buzzes around like a gnat at a picnic. It is going to start scanning you.
You will know it because it looks like a metallic eyeball. It's generally an unfriendly-looking thing.
Step 3: Annoy the Probe
This is where it gets interesting. You see that Probe buzzing around? Do NOT let it scan you completely! You have to get its attention, make it angry, and then…destroy it! Shoot it down, bash it with your sword, pummel it with magic – whatever floats your boat.
But be warned, if that Probe fully scans you, it will vanish without calling in the rest of the Martian crew. You need to interrupt its sightseeing tour.
Step 4: Brace Yourself for a Party
Boom! You've done it! By obliterating that poor, innocent Martian Probe, you've effectively sent a distress signal to the mothership. Now get ready for a full-blown Martian invasion. A horde of Martians, big and small, will descend upon your world. Flying saucers, laser beams, and general mayhem will ensue.
They're not exactly bringing cake and balloons, but it's a party nonetheless!
A Few Things to Remember
This event can only happen after you've defeated Golem. Golem is the gatekeeper to this intergalactic shindig. No Golem down, no Martians around.
The Probe only appears in the outer two-thirds of the world after Golem has been defeated. Sorry, but the center of the map will not work!
More Than Just an Invasion
Okay, so maybe "summoning a Martian invasion" sounds a little…intense. But think of it this way: it's an opportunity. An opportunity to test your skills, to upgrade your gear, and to collect some seriously awesome loot. You may even get to pilot your very own UFO!
This is your chance to show those little green guys who's boss. It is also a way to get special items!
So, go forth, brave Terrarians! Gaze skyward, annoy some probes, and welcome the Martian Madness. Just remember to have fun, and maybe build a bunker or two. Happy alien hunting!
