I Said Brr It's Cold In Here

Okay, folks, let's talk about something important. Something that affects us all. It’s the weather. More specifically, the temperature.
I have a confession. A possibly unpopular opinion.
I'm always cold.
The Great Temperature Divide
You know those people who stroll around in short sleeves in 60-degree weather? I envy them. I really do.
Meanwhile, I’m layering like an onion.
I'm talking thermal underwear, a sweater, a fleece, and possibly a light jacket. It’s my standard uniform.
Is It Just Me?
Am I alone in this perpetually chilly state? I suspect not.
There must be others shivering in silence. Hiding under blankets, desperately seeking warmth. We are the cold-blooded community.
We are the ones who understand the true value of a good hot water bottle.
The Curse of the Office Thermostat
The office is a danger zone. It’s a battleground for temperature supremacy.
Someone always wants to crank up the AC. Even in winter. Why?
I swear, I’ve seen penguins thriving at my workplace.
I secretly plot to adjust the thermostat. But I’m too afraid of confrontation.
Instead, I wrap myself in a blanket burrito. It’s not ideal, but it works.
The Summer Struggle
Summer is supposed to be warm, right? Sun, beaches, ice cream... happiness.
But even in the height of summer, I’m packing a cardigan. You never know when a rogue air conditioner might strike.
Movie theaters are the worst. I go in expecting entertainment and leave with frostbite.
Embrace the Cozy
Maybe being cold isn't so bad. Hear me out!
It gives me an excuse to drink copious amounts of hot chocolate. And wear fuzzy socks. And cuddle up with a good book.
It also allows me to appreciate the simple things. Like a roaring fire, a warm bath, or a hug from a loved one.
Unpopular Opinion: Blankets Are My Love Language
I hoard blankets. I’m not ashamed.
Fleece, cotton, wool – I love them all. Each one serves a specific purpose. Netflix and chill? Fleece blanket required.
Feeling fancy? Cashmere throw, naturally.
Don't judge me until you've experienced the pure joy of being swaddled in warmth. It’s therapeutic, I tell you!
Finding Common Ground (and a Sweater)
So, what’s the solution? How do we bridge the temperature divide?
Maybe we need to start a support group. "Cold People Anonymous."
Or maybe we just need to carry extra sweaters. And blankets. And hot water bottles. You know, just in case.
"It’s not hoarding if it’s for warmth."
In the meantime, I'll be here, sipping my tea and shivering slightly. Don’t worry, I’m used to it.
And if you see me wearing a hat and gloves in July? Just smile and wave. I’m living my best (and warmest) life. Or at least trying to.
Stay warm, my friends! Or at least, try to tolerate the cold.
