Maybe I’m wearing rose-tinted glasses. Perhaps my memory of finding Into The Badlands Season 1 via… *ahem*… various online sources is influencing my judgement.

It could be that the excitement of discovering a show so visually stunning and action-packed colored my perception. But I don't think so!

Season 1 had a certain rawness, a certain simplicity, that the later seasons seemed to lose a bit.

They added more characters, more plotlines, more… stuff. And sometimes, less is more, you know?
