Watching him struggle to control his powers and balance his duties is like watching yourself try to assemble Ikea furniture. It's messy, frustrating, and sometimes you feel like giving up, but when you finally get it right? Pure bliss.

This episode really dives deeper into his resolve to protect others. This gives a real sense of how deeply he wants to protect his comrades. Mina Ashiro is the main goal for him and you can really see that the fire he has to protect her is a driving force.
