Kenny Omega Vs Bryan Danielson Full Match

Okay, Let's Talk About That Omega vs. Danielson Match
Remember when Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson finally locked horns? The wrestling world practically exploded. It was supposed to be a five-star masterpiece, right?
Don't get me wrong, it was good. Really good! But... was it that good? I have some thoughts.
The Hype Was Real (Maybe Too Real?)
Leading up to it, the hype was insane. Dream match, generational talent, blah blah blah. My expectations were set astronomically high.
Maybe that's the problem. Maybe no match could have lived up to that much pressure. Anyone else feel that way?
It Was a Bit... Long, Wasn't It?
40 minutes? Seriously? My attention span isn't what it used to be. I was starting to check Twitter halfway through.
Look, I appreciate the commitment to storytelling. But sometimes, less is more, you know? Give me a 20-minute sprint. I'm happy.
"It was a technical masterpiece!" - Some Wrestling Snob, Probably
Sure, it was technically sound. Bryan Danielson could probably wrestle a broomstick and make it look amazing. Omega too!
But all those holds and reversals? My eyes glazed over a little. I wanted more oomph, more drama!
The Draw? Really?
A draw? After all that? I felt robbed! I needed a winner, a loser, a definitive ending!
It felt like a cop-out, a way to keep both guys strong. But at what cost? It just left me feeling unsatisfied.
Unpopular Opinion Time
Okay, here it is: I didn't think it was a five-star match. There, I said it! Fight me!
Maybe a strong four stars? Four and a half? Definitely not a perfect five. Don't hate me!
It was a great match, just not a legendary one. It's okay to admit that, right?
Other Dream Matches That Lived Up To The Hype (For Me)
Some matches actually delivered on the impossible hype. Shibata vs. Ishii anyone?
Those two beat the snot out of each other and left me speechless. That's what I call a dream match.
Let's Not Forget... It Was Still Awesome
Despite my nitpicking, I still enjoyed watching Omega and Danielson go at it. These two are incredibly talented. The chemistry was also amazing.
It was a spectacle, a moment in wrestling history. I just think it's okay to have slightly tempered expectations sometimes.
The Final Verdict?
Bryan Danielson is still a wrestling god. Kenny Omega is still a brilliant performer. It was all worth the hype.
Maybe I was just being a grumpy old fan. The important thing is, we got to see something special.
And maybe, just maybe, they'll run it back someday and blow our minds completely. Here's hoping!
