Ladybug And Cat Noir Season 4 Finale

Okay, let's talk about the Miraculous Ladybug Season 4 finale. Specifically, "The Last Attack of Shadow Moth Part 2." Buckle up, buttercups. Things are about to get... well, opinionated.
Shadow Moth's Shady Shenanigans
Shadow Moth was pulling out all the stops. Honestly, you had to admire his dedication to being a supervillain. Even if his plans were... a little convoluted at times.
Seriously, did anyone else think his ultimate power-up was kind of underwhelming? I mean, all that build-up for that? I was expecting fireworks, not just a slightly shinier suit.
And the drama! Oh, the delicious, teenage drama! Marinette and Adrien, always with the will-they-won't-they. It's enough to make a grown adult scream at the TV.
Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here's where I might lose some of you. I'm just going to say it: I wasn't blown away by the finale. Gasp! I know, I know. Sacrilege!
The ending felt… rushed. Like they were trying to cram too much into a single episode. My brain felt like it was doing mental gymnastics trying to keep up.
Ladybug and Cat Noir deserve better. They deserve a finale that really allows their characters to shine. More epic battles, please!
Also, can we talk about the Guardian thing? Marinette's struggles are real. Being a superhero and trying to maintain a normal life? Girl, I feel you.
But handing the job over to Alya? I'm not entirely convinced. Alya is amazing, don't get me wrong. But Marinette is Ladybug!
It felt like a cop-out. A way to avoid dealing with Marinette's internal conflict. Maybe Season 5 will change my mind, but for now, I'm skeptical.
The Felix Factor
Oh, Felix. Always causing trouble. I swear, that guy is a walking plot twist waiting to happen. He's like the mischievous cat of the series, always landing on his feet.
His plan was... ambitious, to say the least. Stealing the peacock miraculous? Bold move, buddy. Let's see if it pays off.
I still don't trust him. He has a hidden agenda. I just know it! What could he possibly need all that power for? Is he even good or bad?
What About Cat Noir?
Poor Cat Noir. He's always in Ladybug's shadow. I understand that Ladybug is the protagonist, but Cat Noir deserves more development.
The finale didn't really give him enough to do. He was mostly just… there. Providing support. Being his charming, pun-tastic self.
Come on, writers! Give the black cat some love! He deserves to have a major role in the story, too! Let Cat Noir shine.
Final Thoughts (and More Unpopular Opinions)
Overall, the season 4 finale was… fine. Not terrible, not amazing. Just… fine.
My expectations were probably too high. I was expecting a mind-blowing, earth-shattering conclusion. What I got was a slightly above-average episode.
Maybe I'm being too critical. Maybe I need to lower my expectations. But I can't help but feel a little disappointed.
I just hope Season 5 brings the heat. I want epic battles, emotional breakthroughs, and maybe, just maybe, a little bit of romance.
So, there you have it. My unfiltered, slightly grumpy, and probably unpopular opinion on the Ladybug Season 4 finale. Don't hate me!
What did you think? Let me know! Maybe I'm missing something.
