Last Scene Of Fast And Furious 7

Okay, let's talk about the end of Fast and Furious 7. You know, the one everyone cries at? The "See You Again" scene. The one with Dom and Brian driving off in separate directions?
Yeah, that one. Get ready, because I have a confession. It's...a little overrated.
Hold on! Before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out. I’m not saying it's bad. Just, maybe, not the *perfect* movie ending everyone claims.
A Sentimental Send-Off
Look, I get it. Paul Walker's passing was tragic. The scene was a loving tribute. A way to say goodbye.
Using the old road with the white lines, with Dom saying, "No matter where you are, whether it's a quarter mile away or halfway across the world," hit hard. Especially knowing the real-life context.
But...did it *really* fit the Fast and Furious vibe?
Too Much Feels?
The Fast and Furious franchise is built on insane stunts. Crazy cars. Family barbecues. And, of course, gravity-defying physics.
Sudden feels are not the usual element. We want explosions! We desire NOS boosts! Not...heartfelt goodbyes with acoustic guitar music.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate emotional depth. But maybe after like the 23rd consecutive action scene.
An Unpopular Opinion: Needs More Action!
Imagine this: Brian still leaves, but instead of a quiet drive, they have one last race. Just for fun.
Think epic cars. Silly over-the-top stunts. Maybe even a friendly wager. Imagine Dom in the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, facing Brian in his Toyota Supra.
Then, as they reach the split in the road, Dom gives a nod. Brian smiles. They peel off in opposite directions.
The End, but with more VROOM!
No swelling music. No dramatic voiceover. Just pure, unadulterated Fast and Furious energy.
Isn't that a better way to send Brian (and Paul Walker) off? With a celebration of what the franchise is all about?
It's still emotional, but it's *Fast and Furious* emotional. Not Oscar-bait emotional.
Let's Be Honest
Maybe I'm just a heartless monster. Perhaps I prefer explosions to feelings. Okay, maybe I’m both!
But I genuinely believe that a more action-packed send-off would have been truer to the spirit of the films.
So, there it is. My unpopular opinion. The ending of Fast and Furious 7, while touching, could have used a little more...horsepower.
Agree? Disagree? Let me know. But be gentle. I bruise easily.
