Miraculous Ladybug Season 4 Episode 12 English Dub

Okay, let's talk Miraculous Ladybug. Specifically, Season 4, Episode 12. You know, the one we waited FOREVER for the English dub?
I have thoughts. Some might call them...controversial.
Don't get me wrong, I love this show. The awkward teen romance! The sparkly suits! What’s not to like?
The Case of "Guiltrip" - A Playful Rant
Episode 12, "Guiltrip", though? Hmm. Let's just say it wasn't my *favorite*.
Chloe Bourgeois is involved, so you already know there's drama. Lots of it.
The Chloe Problem (Again!)
Chloe's character arc is… a rollercoaster. We all want her to be better, right?
But sometimes, it feels like she takes three steps forward and then dives headfirst into a vat of villainy. Sigh.
This episode kind of felt like one of those headfirst dives, am I right?
Hear me out. Chloe’s supposed to be growing. Learning empathy. All that jazz.
But in "Guiltrip," she’s just... extra Chloe. Cranked up to eleven.
Is anyone else just tired of the writers using her as a plot device at this point?
Adrien's Unintentional Shade
And then there's Adrien. Sweet, oblivious Adrien.
He’s genuinely trying to be nice, I get it. But sometimes, his niceness comes off as... unintentionally savage.
Like, dude, read the room! Chloe's fragile ego is already hanging by a thread!
That little scene where he tries to compliment her? Ouch. Major ouch.
The Akuma Plot: A Little Too Obvious?
The akuma plot itself felt a bit predictable. Girl gets sad, Hawk Moth swoops in, bam – supervillain.
I mean, it’s Miraculous Ladybug, so a certain level of predictability is expected. But still!
Couldn't they have thrown us a curveball? Maybe a villain motivated by something other than hurt feelings?
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves!)
Okay, here it comes. Ready?
I think "Guiltrip" is one of the weaker episodes of Season 4.
Gasp! I know! I said it!
It just felt… repetitive. And a little frustrating.
We've seen Chloe be awful before. We've seen Adrien be oblivious before. We've seen akumas before.
What I'm trying to say is that it felt very much the same old formula but with nothing new to offer.
The Animation, Though... Chef's Kiss!
Okay, I can't be *completely* negative. The animation was gorgeous, as always.
Those fight scenes? So smooth and dynamic!
And the little details in the character designs? Love them!
Hoping for Better Things
Look, I'm not giving up on Miraculous Ladybug. Not even close!
I'm just hoping the rest of Season 4 delivers a bit more...oomph.
More surprises! More character development! Less Chloe-induced headaches!
Am I asking for too much?
Let me know what you think! Agree? Disagree? Did you love "Guiltrip"? Tell me why!
Because at the end of the day, we’re all just fans waiting for more Ladybug and Cat Noir adventures!
