Poirot Taken At The Flood Watch Online

Okay, let's talk Poirot. Specifically, Taken at the Flood.
You know, the one you probably streamed (or, ahem, wanted to stream) while doing laundry. Because who has time for *actual* mystery-solving these days?
Poirot's Back, Baby!
David Suchet is, as always, magnificent. Let's just get that out of the way. He IS Poirot. End of discussion.
But here's my possibly controversial opinion: Taken at the Flood isn't *quite* top-tier Poirot. Shhh, don't tell anyone I said that.
The Case of the Slightly Confusing Plot
Seriously, did anyone *fully* understand the whole thing with Rosaleen? And the war widow? And the…everything?
Maybe I was distracted by folding socks. Entirely possible.
But it felt like a lot of moving parts. Even for Poirot.
And don't even get me started on the motives! So many people wanted money! So many secrets! It was a bit much, right?
The Supporting Cast: Hit or Miss?
Some of the characters were great. Loved the suspicious family members, naturally.
And the overall atmosphere was fantastic, of course. Classic Poirot vibes.
But some of the performances felt…a little phoned in? Maybe that's just me.
I mean, compared to some of the truly memorable guest stars we've had over the years…these folks felt like they were just there to be questioned by Poirot.
Which, admittedly, is their job.
The Unpopular Opinion Corner
Okay, brace yourselves. Here it comes.
I think the solution was…a little underwhelming. A bit anticlimactic, perhaps.
I know, I know! Blasphemy! But hear me out.
After all that build-up, all that intricate plotting…the reveal just didn't quite pack the punch I was expecting.
It felt like Poirot just kind of…stumbled upon the answer.
Instead of meticulously piecing together the clues, brick by painstaking brick.
Still Worth Watching? Absolutely!
Look, even "lesser" Poirot is still pretty darn good. David Suchet alone makes it worthwhile.
And there are still plenty of twists and turns to keep you entertained. Plus, the costumes are fabulous.
And who doesn't love watching Poirot glare at Hastings (or Japp, or Miss Lemon) with that knowing look in his eye?
So, should you watch Poirot Taken at the Flood online? Yes! But maybe don't expect it to be your new favorite episode.
Think of it as comfort food. Familiar, enjoyable, but not exactly a five-star meal.
But hey, at least the laundry's done!
Just one more thing... remember to always watch Poirot with a cup of tea. And maybe a biscuit. You deserve it.
