Where To Find Iron In Conan Exiles

Alright, exile! Ready to ditch the stone age and finally forge some proper steel? Of course you are! Let's get you geared up with the knowledge you need to find that sweet, sweet iron.
Scouting the Noob River
The Noob River (that's what *I* call it, anyway) is a great place to start your iron-hunting adventure. It's relatively safe, especially if you stick close to the water. Think of it as your iron-finding training ground.
Look for dark, rocky outcroppings along the banks of the river. These aren't just any rocks; they're practically screaming, "I'm full of iron, come and get me!" Just squint a bit, use your imagination, and you'll see it.
The Black Galleon - A Pirate's Plunder
Feeling a bit more daring? Head towards the coast and find the Black Galleon! It is the shipwreck that looks like a giant, rusty metal shark tooth biting the shore.
The area surrounding the ship, and even *inside* that massive wreck, is teeming with iron. Just watch out for the pirates! They aren't exactly thrilled to share their precious metal. Remember, the best offense is a good defense (and maybe a strategically placed explosive jar).
Seriously, though, the Black Galleon is a gold mine, iron mine, whatever-precious-metal-you-need mine, but tread carefully. Those pirates hit hard!
Venturing into the Highlands
Once you're feeling like a true Conan-esque adventurer, it's time to brave the Highlands! This area is a significant step up in difficulty. But the iron rewards? Oh, they are so worth it!
Search around the base of mountains and rocky areas. These places are absolutely crammed with iron nodes, more than you can shake a pickaxe at. Just keep an eye out for those pesky frost giants. Think of them as grumpy, oversized security guards protecting the iron horde.
Gallaman's Tomb - A Spooky Source
Looking for a bit of a creepy iron run? Gallaman's Tomb in the Highlands is your spot. It is the place where the dead hide and the iron shines.
The tomb is filled with undead and all sorts of spooky shenanigans, but also has a decent supply of iron. Just try not to get too distracted by the skeletons doing their undead cha-cha.
If you can stomach the eerie atmosphere, and defeat the tomb's guardians, Gallaman's Tomb can be a surprisingly productive iron-gathering expedition.
Remember Your Tools!
Don't forget your pickaxe! You won't get very far trying to punch iron ore out of rocks. A stone pickaxe will do in a pinch, but an iron pickaxe will make your life much, *much* easier.
Upgrading your tools is always a good idea! It speeds up your harvesting and lets you focus on surviving all those near-death experiences we all know and love.
So there you have it, exile! Go forth, explore, and claim your iron! Just remember to watch your back, upgrade your gear, and maybe pack a few snacks. Happy mining!
Now get out there and become the iron king (or queen) of the Exiled Lands!
