Elastigirl, Girl, Get a Grip

Seriously, hear me out! She's got the powers, the smarts, and the family. Yet, she's always stretching herself too thin. (Pun intended, obviously.)

Is it just me, or does she invite chaos? Like, "Oh, let me single-handedly save the world while juggling three kids and a husband with a midlife crisis."

The Stretchy Paradox

Her powers are amazing. No argument there. She can morph into anything, reach anywhere. But is she using that power wisely?

It feels like she's constantly reacting, not planning. Like a super-powered pinball, bouncing from one crisis to the next.

I get it, life is messy. Especially with super powers and a family of superheroes. But still...

It's the Trying Too Hard That Gets Me

The whole "I can do it all!" vibe? It's admirable, sure. But also, a little exhausting to watch.

We see you, Helen Parr. We see the cracks under the super-suit. It's okay to ask for help!

The world won't end if Mr. Incredible actually *incredibles* for once. Maybe even do some of the dishes.

Delegate, Delegate, Delegate!

Seriously, she has a whole family of heroes! And Frozone! Use your resources, girl!

Imagine Violet handling the surveillance. Dash tackling the speed-related tasks. Even Jack-Jack, with his ever-evolving powers, could be a surprise asset.

Instead, she's out there stretching herself into a bridge, while everyone else is... well, usually needing to be rescued.

The Message We're Sending

Think about it. What does Elastigirl constantly overextending herself tell us? That we *have* to do it all?

That supermoms (and super dads!) can't ever admit they're struggling? That we need to be constantly performing?

I'm calling for a more realistic portrayal! Let Elastigirl take a nap. Let her order pizza instead of making a gourmet meal. Let her say "no" sometimes!
