What was so great about Maya? She brought a fresh vibe to the show, a sweetness. Something I thought the show sometimes lacked.

Everyone was always scheming or getting into trouble. Maya was just... nice. A refreshing contrast, if you ask me.

Also, let's be real, Zoey Deutch is incredibly talented. Even in a smaller role, she shines.

The Bailey & Maya Dynamic

I actually preferred the Bailey and Maya dynamic to some of Bailey's other relationships. There, I said it!

They had a genuine friendship, despite their different personalities. The scenes felt relatable in a way some of the more over-the-top storylines didn't.

Maybe it's just me, but I always felt they had good chemistry.

A Missed Opportunity?

Honestly, I think The Suite Life on Deck missed out. They should have kept Zoey Deutch around longer!

Imagine the storylines they could have explored. Maya getting into her own quirky adventures. Maya and Bailey's friendship growing.

It could have added a whole new layer to the show. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.
