Hear me out, folks! I know, I know. The internet seems to be in a collective groan about the ending of Anyway I'm Falling In Love With You. But secretly? I was cheering.
Was it perfect? Nah. Was it predictable? Probably. But did it make me smile like a goofball? Absolutely!

Everyone complains it was too cheesy. Too neat. Too… happy. Like, come on, where's the angst? Where's the dramatic breakup before the triumphant reunion?
Apparently, we can't just let Ruan Zhen Zhen and Xu Guang Xi be happy. We need tears! We need heartbreak!

Let's be honest, these two went through enough drama already! Seriously, amnesia, conniving exes, corporate sabotage… they deserved a break.
Plus, the whole show was pretty fluffy to begin with. It wasn't exactly Shakespeare, you know? So expecting some groundbreaking, tragic ending feels a bit much.
Maybe, just maybe, the writers were like, "Let's give the viewers what they secretly want: pure, unadulterated, cheesy romance!" And I, for one, appreciate that.

Remember when Xu Guang Xi looked at Ruan Zhen Zhen like she hung the moon? Or when they just bickered playfully? That's the stuff that got me.
