Seriously, where is it? It's been ages! I'm starting to think they misplaced the script... or maybe ate it. You know, because the characters *would* do that.
Don't get me wrong, seasons 1 and 2 were amazing. Pure, unadulterated chaos and hilarious misunderstandings. We need more of that chaos!
The Summoning System: Still Awesome
The whole concept of using summoned avatars based on test scores? Genius! It's like Pokemon meets high school from hell. I'd totally summon a chibi version of myself. It'd probably trip a lot.
Remember those epic summon battles? The sheer ridiculousness was captivating. You had to root for Akihisa and his band of lovable idiots.
And let's not forget the stakes! Moving up (or down) classes based on these battles? Talk about pressure! Who needs actual grades anyway?
The Characters: Endearing Idiots (and a Few Smart Ones)
Each character is so unique, it's hard *not* to love them. Even if they're constantly making questionable decisions. Especially then, actually.
Minami's tsundere tendencies? Classic! Hideyoshi's... well, his Hideyoshi-ness? Legendary. And Yuuji's leadership skills? Debatable, but entertaining.
And let's not forget Shouko, the seemingly perfect character hiding deep affection for Yuuji. The constant blunders were so good to watch.
I'd argue they're one of the best comedic anime casts ever assembled. Prove me wrong! (You can't).
The Comedy: Still Holds Up!
I rewatched the show recently. Still laughing. The jokes haven't aged a day. Slapstick, wordplay, and those over-the-top reactions. It's all gold!
Think about it: mistaken identities, cross-dressing, and explosions of chibi-summoned creatures. What's not to love?
And the visual gags? Chef's kiss. Those expressive character designs really sold the humor. I really want to see them again.
The "Unpopular" Opinion: We Need More Seasons!
Okay, maybe it's not *that* unpopular. But hear me out: Baka and Test deserves a Season 3! The story isn't finished. The characters still have room to grow (and screw up).
There are so many plot threads dangling! What happens to Akihisa and Mizuki? Will Yuuji ever actually confess to Shouko? The suspense is killing me!
Anime reboots and sequels are all the rage. Why not bring back this gem? Please, anime gods, hear my plea! Give us Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts Season 3!
