Bear In The Big Blue House Morning Glory

Bear In The Big Blue House Morning Glory

My Hot Take: Bear's Morning Glory is... Overrated?

Okay, folks. Let's talk about something important. Something... blue. I'm talking about Bear in the Big Blue House. More specifically, I'm talking about the legendary "Morning Glory" song.

Don't get me wrong. It's catchy. But is it *that* good?

A Confession: I Fast-Forwarded Sometimes

I know, I know. Burn me at the stake! But hear me out. As a kid, did anyone else reach for the remote during the "Morning Glory" sequence? I confess. I did it sometimes.

The same song, every single episode? Even I needed a little variety. Sue me!

Maybe I just craved the juicy plot points sooner. Did Tutter finally get the cheese? Was Ojo going to learn another valuable life lesson? These were the burning questions!

Let's Be Honest: Bear Carried That Show

Bear, voiced by the amazing Noel MacNeal, was the real MVP. He was the gentle giant we all needed. And let's not forget his amazing nose!

He could smell everything! Cookies baking miles away? A tiny bit of peanut butter stuck on Tutter's whiskers? Bear knew.

Honestly, the nose songs were way more engaging. Admit it.

The Moon Was Cool, Though

Okay, I'll give you that. The Moon character was pretty awesome. His wise and comforting chats were a highlight.

He always had the right advice, even when *I* was feeling a little "meh" about morning glorys.

But back to the song! Was it really necessary to hear the same version every single episode? Did it add something truly meaningful?

Other Kids' Shows Did It Better

Remember Blue's Clues? Steve's little songs were fresh. Each episode had a slightly different performance.

Even Sesame Street changed things up! They had musical guests, different animation styles, and a whole lot more variety.

Maybe that's why I found "Morning Glory" a little... repetitive. It felt like a missed opportunity.

The Real Message Matters

Of course, Bear in the Big Blue House was more than just a catchy tune. It taught us about friendship, kindness, and embracing our feelings. That's what truly mattered.

It was a safe and comforting place to learn and grow.

But still... the "Morning Glory" song? A tad overrated in my humble opinion.

Am I Alone?

So, am I the only one who feels this way? Is this a truly unpopular opinion?

Sound off in the comments! Let me know if you secretly fast-forwarded, too. Or if you think I'm completely wrong and "Morning Glory" is a timeless masterpiece.

Let the debate begin!

P.S. The Ending Theme Was Catchier

Seriously. Remember the "Goodbye Song"? Way better. Fight me.
