Fast And Furious See You Again Scene

Okay, let's talk about something that’s probably sacred to a lot of people: the ending of Furious 7.
Yeah, you know the one. The "See You Again" scene. Get ready, because I have some thoughts.
The Waterworks Factory
I get it, I really do. Paul Walker's passing was a huge loss.
The song, the montage, the emotional goodbyes? Instant tear-jerker. My own eyes may or may not have gotten a little misty.
But... (and here's where I might lose some friends) ...is it just *me*, or is it a *tad* over the top?
A Little Too Sweet?
Don't get me wrong, the sentiment is beautiful.
It's a lovely tribute to a friend and colleague. But "See You Again" plays. A *lot*.
It's like the movie is actively *trying* to make you cry. Like, aggressively.
Is it genuine emotion, or masterful manipulation? Tough question.
Maybe it's both!
Drifting Off Into the Sunset... Or Not?
And that split in the road? Iconic, for sure. Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto says farewell.
Brian O'Conner drives off into the sunset. Poignant. Memorable.
But also... kinda cheesy?
I mean, these are guys who jump cars between skyscrapers. They fight submarines with muscle cars. Subtle isn't really their thing.
But maybe that's the point? To show their softer side?
Unpopular Opinion Incoming!
Okay, brace yourselves. My potentially controversial take?
The scene is... a *little* too long. There, I said it!
By the third slow-motion glance, I was starting to think, "Okay, guys, we get it. You miss him. Can we go race something now?"
I know, I know. I'm probably a terrible person. Feel free to @ me.
But seriously, a slightly shorter, less overtly sentimental version might have packed an even stronger punch.
Still Respect The Feels
Look, I'm not saying it's a *bad* scene. Far from it!
It clearly resonated with millions. It's a cultural touchstone.
It’s just... maybe a *smidge* manipulative for my personal taste.
I fully respect the emotional impact it has on people. And I get why it's so beloved. Really.
It is what it is. It's a cultural phenomenon.
Let The Debates Begin!
So, am I alone in this? Am I a heartless monster? Or are there others out there who secretly feel the same way?
Let me know in the comments! But be gentle. I bruise easily.
Ultimately, it's just a movie scene. And opinions are like, well, you know.
But hey, at least we're all talking about Fast and Furious, right? And isn't that what truly matters? Maybe?
Besides, I can still appreciate a good car chase. Even if it involves drifting into the sunset with a soundtrack designed to make me weep.
And I'm not saying I *don't* sing along to "See You Again" when it comes on the radio. I'm just saying... maybe I skip the last verse.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I'm going to go watch a video of a car jumping over a shark. You know, to cleanse my palate.
