How To Get Mythril Anvil In Terraria

So, You Want a Mythril Anvil, Huh?
Let's be honest. You're probably tired of crafting with that old, rusty iron anvil. I get it. You want shiny things!
Everyone wants to upgrade. Who wouldn't? I mean, come on.
Step 1: Beat the Wall of Flesh (Duh!)
First things first. You gotta take down the Wall of Flesh. This is a non-negotiable.
I know, I know, fighting the *Wall of Flesh* can be a bit scary. But you've got this!
Seriously though, have you tried just throwing grenades at it? Works like a charm... sometimes.
Step 2: Embrace the Hardmode Chaos
Congratulations! You've unleashed Hardmode upon your Terraria world. Now the real fun begins. Or not.
Everything is trying to kill you. That's the new normal. Enjoy! (Just kidding... mostly).
Suddenly, every slime is buffed and angry. Good times, right?
Step 3: Smash Those Altars (Sacrilege!)
Okay, this is where things get a little... controversial. You need to destroy some Demon Altars or Crimson Altars.
I know, I know! They look so cool and mysterious. But trust me, it's for the greater good. Mostly for your greater good, so you can get better gear.
Some people say it's wrong to destroy them. My unpopular opinion? They're just rocks. Very important rocks, but still.
Step 4: Pray to the RNG Gods (and Mine!)
Smashing altars spawns new ores in your world. Specifically, Cobalt or Palladium, then Mythril or Orichalcum, and finally Adamantite or Titanium.
You need to find Mythril ore. Happy hunting!
Mining is the best part of the game right? No? Okay... well do it anyway. This can be tedious and a pain in the butt, but it must be done.
Step 5: Forge Your Own Destiny (at a Forge)
Once you have your Mythril ore, you need to smelt it into Mythril bars. Any old furnace won't do. You need a Hellforge.
Hopefully, you snagged one of these during your trip to the underworld to battle the Wall of Flesh. If not... back you go!
Think of it as a mini-vacation. Just watch out for the lava.
Step 6: Finally, Craft that Anvil!
With enough Mythril bars, you can FINALLY craft your Mythril Anvil! Hallelujah!
It only takes 10 *Mythril Bars*! Which after all that work, doesn't seem like much, does it?
Go forth and craft! Make all the things! You deserve it. Now, onto defeating the Mechanical Bosses!
Bonus Tip: Impatience is a Virtue (Sometimes)
Okay, here's another unpopular opinion: if you're really impatient, just fish for crates. Seriously.
Crates can contain pre-made Mythril bars. It's like a lottery, but with slightly better odds.
It's still tedious but at least you get to look at the water. Maybe catch a cool fish too. Worth it?
Alternative Step: Orichalcum Anvil
Let's face it sometimes you get unlucky. And instead of Mythril you get *Orichalcum*.
This means instead of finding Mythril, you get Orichalcum and you need to make an Orichalcum Anvil.
It's the same process, just a different ore. Don't despair!
