How To Get To Glass Desert Slime Rancher

So, you're ready for a real adventure in Slime Rancher? Awesome! You're probably itching to explore the Glass Desert. Think scorching sun, ancient ruins, and totally new slimes. It's a trip you won't forget.

First things first: you gotta know where to start. Don't worry, it's not a hidden treasure map situation. It’s all about unlocking the path.

Getting Started

You'll need to head to the Dry Reef. Familiar territory, right? Look for a special Gordo Slime. These big guys are blocking the way forward.

This Gordo is a Pink Tabby Gordo. You need to feed it until it explodes. A satisfying (and essential) part of the journey!

Any food works, but Pinks love anything, so go for the easiest snack. Once it's had its fill and bursts, it reveals a teleporter.

Hop into that teleporter! Where does it lead? To the Indigo Quarry. Time to explore more.

Venturing Through the Quarry

The Indigo Quarry is a rocky place, filled with some unique slime types. Keep your eyes peeled for another Gordo. This one's a Rad Gordo.

Radiated slimes are not for the faint of heart. They are well, radioactive. You'll need to feed this guy until he bursts, but be careful!

Rad Gordos only eat veggies. After it explodes, it's another teleporter time! Jump in.

Ancient Ruins Await

This time, you'll arrive in the Ancient Ruins. Creepy, right? But super cool and mysterious.

Another Gordo blocks your path: the Boom Gordo. Find this explosive guy.

Boom Gordos will only eat meat. Feed him and BOOM! Another teleporter to explore.

The Final Stretch

Now you're getting close! This teleporter takes you to the Collapsed Mines. This place looks dangerous and a bit scary.

Look for a hidden cave within the Collapsed Mines. It’s where you need to be. Inside you’ll discover a strange device.

This is the Gate, sealed tight. You’ll need to power it up.

Activating the Gate

To power the Gate, you need three different Slime Keys. The Slime Keys are not physical keys to pick up, they are what you will get from bursting other Gordo slimes.

Remember the three Gordo Slimes you exploded earlier? (Pink Tabby, Rad, and Boom). Each of them left behind a Slime Key.

If you've been following along, you should already have all three Slime Keys in your inventory. Activate the Gate using those keys.

Insert each Slime Key into the corresponding slot on the Gate. Once all three are in place, the Gate will activate, and a portal will open.
