I Ve Got A Dream Lyrics Tangled

"I've Got a Dream": Unpopular Opinions About a Disney Classic
Okay, Tangled fans, hear me out. I love this movie. But something about "I've Got a Dream" has always rubbed me the wrong way.
The Song is...Too Long?
Don't get me wrong. The melody's catchy. The visuals are fantastic. But the song just keeps going.
It feels like they crammed every single henchman's backstory into one five-minute musical number. Did we *really* need to know the mime's dream?
Dream Big, or Dream...Weird?
Some of those dreams are... concerning. Like, the guy who wants to collect ceramic unicorns? That's his biggest aspiration?
And the one who knits? Cute, but it feels a little out of place in a pub full of thugs. Are we *sure* this is a hideout for dangerous criminals?
Flynn Rider's Dream - The Realest One
Let's be honest, Flynn Rider's dream of mountains of money is probably the most relatable in the whole song. We've all been there, wanting a comfortable, stress-free life.
He's not trying to be profound or change the world. He just wants to be rich. Can't fault him for that.
The Mugs' Transformation – A Little Too Convenient?
Suddenly, everyone's a softie because Rapunzel sang a few lines? It feels a bit rushed, doesn't it?
I mean, these are hardened criminals. A pretty girl and a song shouldn't magically erase years of bad decisions.
The Goosebumps Moment
But, BUT... when they all start singing with Rapunzel, that *is* a goosebumps moment. I admit it!
The power of hope and shared dreams is undeniable, even if it feels a little saccharine.
Is it Really Better Than Other Disney Anthems?
Everyone raves about "I've Got a Dream" being one of Disney's best villain songs. I'm not so sure.
Compared to the sheer malice of "Be Prepared" or the chilling undertones of "Mother Knows Best," it feels a little…lightweight.
Plus, are they really villains? Or just misunderstood guys with unusual hobbies?
The Song's Message: Still Relevant Though
Okay, unpopular opinions aside, the core message of the song is great. Everyone has dreams, no matter how big or small, or how silly.
And it's important to pursue those dreams, even if they seem impossible. So, maybe I'm being too harsh.
In Conclusion: It's Complicated
So, "I've Got a Dream." A bit too long? Maybe. A little cheesy? Perhaps. But undeniably catchy and heartwarming?
Definitely. Tangled wouldn't be the same without it. I still sing along every time. Just don't tell anyone I said all this.
"And yes, I like to knit!" - Hook Hand Thug (probably)
