Is Sasaki To Miyano Manga Finished

Okay, let's talk Sasaki and Miyano. The big question? Is it really over?
I know, I know. Officially, the manga is still ongoing. There are new chapters popping up, aren't there?
The Never-Ending After-Story... Or Is It?
But here's my (perhaps wildly unpopular) opinion: it *feels* done. Like, main story? Wrapped up with a cute little bow.
We saw them get together. We saw them navigate relationship stuff. Isn't that the point?
Now, we're getting... well, extra sprinkles. Not that sprinkles are bad! But sprinkles aren't the cake.
Anyone else feel like we're in eternal epilogue territory?
Side Stories Galore!
Don't get me wrong, I love Hanzawa Sensei. And all the other characters.
Seeing more of them is fun! It's like catching up with old friends.
But is it moving the *main* plot forward? Debatable.
Are these side stories essential? Honestly, no. Are they cute? Absolutely.
The Comfort Food Dilemma
Maybe that's what Sasaki and Miyano has become: comfort food.
We know what to expect. Warm fuzzies. Adorable blushing.
No major angst bombs dropping anytime soon. It is sweet, and comfortable.
Is that a bad thing? Of course not! Who doesn't love comfort food?
But eventually, even the most delicious dish can feel a bit... repetitive. Can’t it?
It like, hey, I love the characters, I do. But how many times can we rehash the same insecurities?
My "Hot Take" on the Ending
So, here's my controversial take: in my heart, the main story ended when they became a couple.
Everything else is bonus content. Wonderful bonus content, granted!
But, if the manga suddenly stopped releasing chapters tomorrow, would I feel robbed? Nope.
I got what I came for. The boys are happy. My heart is full. The end.
Call me crazy, but maybe endings are good things. Maybe dragging things out dilutes the initial magic.
Maybe I just have a low tolerance for sugary sweetness. Maybe!
But Hey, I Could Be Wrong!
Look, I'm just one person with one opinion. Maybe Shou Harusono, the author, has a grand plan.
Maybe she's building to something truly epic! Something that will blow our minds.
I’m prepared to be proven wrong, and I'll gladly eat my words, if that’s the case.
But until then, I'm sticking to my guns. It *feels* finished. At least, the core story is done.
What about you? Are you enjoying the continuing adventures of Sasaki and Miyano?
Or are you secretly hoping for a "true" ending soon? Let me know! Let’s discuss, or argue, in the comments!
Maybe we can all agree to disagree...while still enjoying the adorable ride.
Because let's be honest, no matter what, Sasaki and Miyano will always hold a special place in our hearts.
