My Main Goal Is To Blow Up Guy

Okay, so maybe the title sounds a little… intense. But trust me, it’s all in good fun. My main goal, the thing that gets me up in the morning? To blow up Guy.

Figuratively, of course! I’m not talking anything illegal or, you know, actually destructive. Think more… celebratory.

It all started a few years back. Guy, my friend, has always been a bit… understated. He’s brilliant, talented, genuinely amazing at what he does, but he never really sings his own praises.

So, I took it upon myself to do it for him. To blow up his achievements, his potential, everything that makes Guy, well, Guy.

The Early Stages of Explosive Admiration

In the beginning, it was small stuff. Sharing his work on social media. Tagging him in relevant articles. Even just hyping him up to mutual friends.

“Have you seen Guy's new project?” I’d ask, practically vibrating with excitement. “It’s seriously mind-blowing!”

He was mortified, naturally. But secretly, I think he appreciated it. He'd always roll his eyes and say something like, "Oh, come on..." But you could see a little smile playing on his lips.

Leveling Up the Explosion

As time went on, I got more creative. I started subtly name-dropping him in conversations with people who could potentially help his career.

I became a master of the humble brag, but instead of bragging about myself, I was bragging about Guy. It’s an art form, really.

Then there was the time I convinced a local newspaper to do a profile on him. I may have exaggerated his accomplishments *just* a little bit. Okay, maybe a lot. But hey, it was for a good cause!

The key is to be enthusiastic, genuine, and relentless. And maybe a little bit sneaky.

The newspaper profile did wonders. Suddenly, people were actually listening when Guy was talking.

He got invited to conferences, landed a couple of big clients, and even won an award. It was like watching a slow-motion explosion of awesomeness.

The Aftermath of a Positive Explosion

So, has my mission been accomplished? Is Guy fully “blown up”? Probably not. There’s always more room for growth, for recognition, for plain old good vibes.

But he’s definitely come a long way. He's more confident. He’s more visible. And he’s finally starting to believe in himself as much as I believe in him.

And honestly, that’s the best reward. Seeing Guy thrive is more satisfying than any personal achievement.

Plus, it’s just plain fun. Who wouldn’t want to spend their time spreading joy and lifting up a friend?

So, yeah, my main goal is to blow up Guy. And I plan to keep doing it for as long as he’ll let me. Or at least until he gets tired of me embarrassing him in public.

But even then, I’ll probably just find new, more subtle ways to unleash his awesomeness on the world. Because that’s what friends are for, right?
