Oshi No Ko Manga Last Chapter

Oshi No Ko: Did It Stick the Landing? (My Totally Biased Take)
Okay, folks, let's talk about the Oshi No Ko finale. The ending. The big shebang. Was it everything we dreamed of? Well… *clears throat* That's a loaded question, isn't it?
Don't get me wrong, I was glued to my screen (or manga page, depending on your poison) every week. The twists! The drama! The existential dread of the entertainment industry!
But now that it's over, I have a confession: I have some… thoughts. Maybe even some unpopular opinions brewing.
The Revenge Plot: Did It Pay Off?
The series kicked off with a HUGE revenge plot, right? Aqua's entire mission was to find his mom's killer and make them pay. That's some serious dedication.
And, yeah, justice (sort of) was served. But did it feel… satisfying? I'm not entirely convinced.
Maybe I'm just bloodthirsty, but I wanted more fireworks! More dramatic confrontations! More of Aqua dramatically staring into the sunset after achieving his goal!
Romance? Really?
The whole Aqua romance situation… Let's just say it's complicated. And by complicated, I mean potentially squicky. Reincarnation is a wild concept, isn’t it?
I get it. It's fiction. But something about the age difference (even with past lives considered) made me a little uncomfortable. Anyone else?
Maybe I was just rooting for the wrong ship. #KanaForever, anyone?
The Entertainment Industry: Still Brutal?
Oshi No Ko definitely didn't shy away from showing the dark side of showbiz. The pressure! The exploitation! The crippling lack of sleep!
Did the ending offer any hope for a brighter future in the entertainment world? A little, maybe. But the scars are definitely still there. It is hard hitting.
Maybe that's the point. Real change is slow and messy, even in manga land.
Overall Verdict: Still Worth the Hype?
Despite my nitpicks, I still think Oshi No Ko is a fantastic series. It's thought-provoking, emotionally engaging, and undeniably addictive. The storytelling of Aka Akasaka is truly magnificent.
The characters are memorable, the plot twists are shocking, and the art is gorgeous. What's not to love (mostly)?
But did the ending blow my mind and make me cry tears of pure joy? Not exactly. Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe I'm just a cynical old soul. Only Ruby can understand me!
My Hot Take: It Was Good, Not Great. Fight Me.
So, there you have it. My brutally honest (and probably controversial) opinion on the Oshi No Ko finale. Agree? Disagree? Let me know in the comments!
Just please, be nice. I'm sensitive. And I'm still recovering from the emotional rollercoaster that was this series.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go re-read the early chapters and pretend everything is still sunshine and rainbows (and idol worship).
Because sometimes, ignorance is bliss. And sometimes, you just want a happy ending, darn it!
