Okay, let’s talk Violet Beauregarde. And not just *Violet Beauregarde*, but the costume.

Specifically, my probably unpopular opinion about it.

The Violet Beauregarde Dilemma

Everyone loves Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, right? Golden Tickets, Oompa Loompas…pure magic.

But dressing up as Violet? Hmm. It’s… a choice.

Don't get me wrong, I admire the dedication. The commitment to turning blue? Brave!

The Blueberry Blues

Let's face it, the peak Violet costume is *the blueberry*. A giant, round, VERY blue ball of fabric.

It's undeniably recognizable. But is it comfortable? Is it flattering? Debatable!

Alternatives Exist (Thank Goodness!)

Veruca Salt gets to be demanding and surrounded by squirrels! That sounds way more entertaining!

Willy Wonka has all the power (and a snazzy hat). Ultimate boss vibes!

Even an Oompa Loompa seems preferable. At least they have catchy tunes!

Maybe it's just me. Maybe I lack the dedication required for full blueberry transformation.

But I think there are other, equally fantastic, and significantly less blue, options out there.

So, next Halloween, consider this: embrace your inner Oompa Loompa! Or channel your inner Veruca!

Just… maybe think twice before committing to the blueberry life. Your skin (and your furniture) will thank you.
