Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2 Episode 9

Okay, Let's Talk Hanako-kun Episode 9
Alright, folks, let's dive in! Remember episode 9 of season 2? The one that everyone seems to have a strong opinion about?
I'm here to stir the pot. I have some thoughts that might be... controversial. Hold onto your hats!
The Feels Were Real
First off, the emotion was *chef's kiss*. Did anyone else ugly cry? Because I did. I mean, Hanako's backstory is always a punch to the gut.
Seeing his regrets laid bare? Brutal. It really made you think, you know? About second chances and whatnot.
Unpopular Opinion Alert!
But here's where I might lose some of you. I wasn't *completely* blown away. Gasp!
Don't get me wrong, it was good. But was it the *best* episode ever? I'm not so sure. Is that sacrilege?
Pacing Problems?
Maybe it was the pacing? Things felt a little rushed, especially towards the end. They crammed a lot into those 24 minutes.
I needed more time to process everything! Maybe they should have stretched it out over two episodes. Anyone else agree?
The Animation, Though...
We can all agree the animation was gorgeous, right? The colors, the fluidity, the character designs... breathtaking!
Especially the scenes with Hanako and his brother. So much detail! Studio Lerche definitely brought their A-game.
Did Someone Say Cliffhanger?
And then, BAM! Cliffhanger ending. As if we weren't already emotionally compromised! Seriously, writers, you wound us!
Now we're all left hanging, desperately waiting for the next episode. The suspense is killing me!
Yashiro's Growth
One thing I did love was seeing Yashiro's development. She's come so far since the first episode. Remember when she just wanted a boyfriend?
Now she's facing down supernatural threats and grappling with complex emotions. What a queen! I am so proud.
Minamoto Kou: MVP?
And can we give a shout-out to Minamoto Kou? He's always there, trying his best. He might be a bit of a goofball, but he has a good heart.
He deserves some happiness, too! Poor guy always gets the short end of the stick. Justice for Kou!
The Aftermath
So, yeah, episode 9. Good, but not perfect, in my humble opinion. Maybe I'm just being picky!
What did you guys think? Am I totally off base here? Let me know in the comments!
Final Thoughts
Regardless, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is a fantastic show. It's visually stunning, emotionally resonant, and full of interesting characters.
Even if episode 9 wasn't my absolute favorite, I'm still eagerly anticipating what comes next. Because with this show, you never know what to expect.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go re-watch the entire series from the beginning. Just to, you know, refresh my memory. Wink, wink!
