Who Framed Roger Rabbit Judge Doom Defeat

Okay, let's talk Roger Rabbit. Specifically, that glorious moment when Judge Doom gets, well, doomed. We all clapped, right? Good riddance to the evil Dip-maker!
But Was It a Good Defeat?
Hear me out. This might be an unpopular opinion. Doom's demise, while satisfying, feels a tad...underwhelming. I said it!
Think about it. This guy is pure evil. He wants to erase Toontown! He's got that creepy smile and the squeaky shoes. We need a spectacular sendoff.
The Setup Was Perfect
The tension builds. Eddie Valiant finally gets his act together. He confronts Doom in the Acme factory. The stakes? The fate of Toons everywhere!
Then, the fight starts. It's classic cartoon chaos. Mallets, steamrollers, the whole shebang. But something's...missing.
Doom gets flattened by his own Dip machine. A little anticlimactic, no? Especially after he survives so much already.
My (Slightly Crazy) Alternative
Imagine this instead. Eddie corners Doom. He's about to unleash some witty one-liner. Then BAM! Doom transforms. Fully. Into his Toon form.
A crazy, bug-eyed, terrifying Toon. Maybe something ripped straight from a Tex Avery cartoon. Now that's scary!
He's still vulnerable to Dip. But now the stakes are even higher. Eddie has to outsmart a super-powered Toon Doom.
The Dip machine is still involved. But this time, Eddie has to weaponize Toon logic. Think: portable holes and gravity-defying gags.
The finale? Doom, defeated by his own cartoonish nature. Maybe he melts into a puddle of ink, screaming with cartoon rage. Now that's a death befitting a villain of his caliber!
The Dip Machine, a Missed Opportunity?
Don't get me wrong, the Dip machine is iconic. It's horrifying and brilliant.
But its use in Doom's final moments felt...perfunctory. It was just there, ready to be stumbled into.
What if the Dip machine required more setup? More cleverness to activate? More…toonish ingenuity?
Eddie could have used Toon physics to redirect the Dip. He could have tricked Doom into activating it himself. Now that's poetic justice!
Ultimately, Still Great...But Could Have Been Epic!
Look, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a masterpiece. The acting, the animation, the world-building...flawless.
Christopher Lloyd's Judge Doom is terrifyingly good. He's a top-tier cinematic villain. No question.
But his defeat? It's a little like ordering a gourmet burger and getting a side of plain fries. It's good, but you were expecting something more...extraordinary.
So, I stand by my unpopular opinion. Doom's death was fine. But with a little more Toon madness, it could have been legendary!
What do you think? Am I completely bonkers? Or do you secretly agree that Doom deserved a more explosive sendoff?
